Chichen Itza Day Trip

12 hours
The best archaeological tour in Yucatan! CODE TOUR CUN: 96581 PDC: 108763 TUL: 108763
One of our professional guides will pick you up at the hotel door, where you will start a comfortable trip to the ancient capital of the Mayan Empire.

If you are coming  from Cancun we will go first to Chichen Itza , where a certified guide will give you a tour full of fascinating stories.

Contemplate the majestic pyramid of the feathered serpent: Kukulkán, where the Mayan god was worshiped, discover the meaning of its symbols and learn about the mysteries hidden by its incredible architectural decoration. Appreciate one of the ballgame courts; you will be amazed to know what this game represented for civilization.

At the end of the tour you will have free time to rest, or if during the trip you lacked time to admire the magnificent structures, you can return to them, at your own pace. At the end of the walk, you will know why Unesco designated Chichén Itzá as Cultural Heritage of Humanity.

Next will go to Ik Kil where we have about an hour to inmerse yourself in the pure and refreshing  wáter of this spectacular underground Cenote. If you are coming from Playa del Carmen or Tulum the itinerary might change, in this case we will visit first the great Suytun Cenote, a walkway Stone that gets you into a pool of turquoise wáter.

Your van will be waiting for you to take you to a restaurant where you will taste delicious local dishes, rice, fresh fish, and juicy and tender meat.

To finish this incredible experience we will briefly visit the Colonial town Valladolid, where we can shop arround  by the main square souvenirs from the local Artisans.

On the way back, enjoy the comfortable and safe journey to the door of your hotel.
